Goal Post the season could not of started any worse with two defeats to smallthorne juniors by 2-0,2-0,we then went another four games without winning before our first win of the season against buiddulph town bulldogs 1-0.we then went 12 games without losing and only conceiding 2 goals.our league cup started with a win.we then faced smallthorne in the league who seemed to raise ther game against us winning the first game 1-0 but we took a bit of revenge in the second game winning 3-0.we then went on a run of eight games winning six drawing two losing none we scored 11 goals and having 4 put past us.in the league cup we knocked out caverswall growlers and then came up against the run away leaders in division 3 kidsgrove celtic who beat us on penalties 4-2.the game which cost us the league title was next when we played bottom side florence and lost both games which was a disaster for our chances of winning the league.with ten games to go and lying in second place behind fulford we needed to win every game including a game against fulford having already beat them earlier in the season.we won seven and drew 3 finishing 5 points behind champions fulford.
